SEBI-Validated “@Valid” UPI Handles – Investor Awareness
As per SEBI’s latest mandate, all SEBI-registered intermediaries — including Research Analysts (RAs) — are required to use exclusive, SEBI-validated UPI handles (@valid UPI) for receiving payments related to regulated services.
This framework enhances investor protection, payment security, and transparency, ensuring that investor funds are routed only to verified and authorised intermediaries.

We are pleased to inform you that Invos Research & Technology, a SEBI-registered Research Analyst entity, has successfully enabled its SEBI-validated @valid UPI payment handle for collections toward regulated research services.

For UPI payments directly to our registered bank account:
This @valid UPI ID is exclusively meant for payments related to SEBI-regulated Research Services offered by Invos Research & Technology.
What This Means for You
- When making payments for SEBI-regulated research services, you will now see the option to pay via our @valid UPI ID.
- You may continue to use other payment modes such as Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, etc.
- For non-regulated services or products, our regular UPI handles and standard payment methods will continue as usual.
- No additional action is required from your side — this is a backend compliance enhancement mandated by SEBI.
How to Identify a Genuine @Valid UPI Handle
1. Correct Intermediary Name & Category
The UPI ID must display “Invos Research” with the category abbreviation “ra” (Research Analyst) to the left of the “@” symbol.
Example: invosresearch.rzp1.ra@validaxis;
2. “@valid” Handle on the Right Side
The right side of the UPI ID must contain @valid followed by the bank name.
Examples: @validaxis, @validhdfc, @validicici
3. Verification Symbol
On the UPI confirmation screen, look for a white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle. This confirms the payment is being made to a SEBI-verified intermediary.
4. QR Code Validation
A genuine @valid QR code will also display the white thumbs-up icon inside a green triangle, with the @valid UPI ID printed below the QR code.
SEBI Check – Verify Before You Pay
SEBI has introduced an investor verification utility called SEBI Check, enabling investors to:
- Verify whether a @valid UPI ID belongs to a SEBI-registered intermediary
- Confirm the linked bank account
- Validate payments by entering the UPI ID or scanning the QR code
This provides an additional layer of trust, transparency, and security before making payments.
